boot into safe mode using jaws
Hello Folks,
I had an A T and T "In Home" Technical Support person come out to my place last year, when an "executable file" in Windows got corrupted, thus crashing my system, and he did not even try

I notice you are still on this jaws list so you must still be using jaws so I guess voice over on the mac is not the best.

there are a number of tools that can be run in safe mode, both already on the computer such as chkdsk for making sure the hard drive is ok, scan disk, for checking OS file integrity, removal

I don't see what the big deal is if people have to move to JAWS 13 to have Windows 8. At the end of the day it's peoples own decision whether they upgrade and for some time after Windows 8 is released

The choice is entirely yours as a consumer, to upgrade or not upgrade.
I stuck with XP for 6 or 7 years because it met my needs. Once it no longer did, I moved up to 7.

As far as I heard microsoft is looking at launching in the first half
of next year. This kind of sucks from what I've seen so far in the
last hour or two it meens everybody will have to go to jaws 13
