I don't buy it from a technological standpoint. I'm thinking that IT
departments are just lazy and doing a new image is a lot easier than doing
an update from 2007 to 2010. Get them to agree

What's strange is that we went to Win 7 last September. That was a huge pain, but it is working now.
It seems strange to be doing a new image now, but I'm told there is no other way.

My appologies, I should have been more instructive. Not only do you want to grab them but then copy or unzip them into the same place on the new computer over writing what ever is there which believe

On a very narrow point, it's possible that JAWS 13 will work better with
2010 or just with your office's system being different. I don't experience
the problems you do with JAWS 13. Then again,

The installed voice is pretty bad, but it'll take any SAPI5 voice.
Incidentally, Narrator is what it is, but the default voice in 7 is a
vast improvement over Sam.

people haven't had much experience setting up JAWS in a networking environment. I hope they are willing to seek help from FS or from someone who is more knowledgeable than they seem to be.
