Was just wondering if anyone knows if JAWS is compatible with Microsoft Expressions Web and Design. My student is taking a class next year that requires her to use this program.
Thanks,
Donna

Re: Convenient OCR not so much
Yes. It's a baby step, but it works. Once in a while, someone in my
cabinet sends out a PDF image file, and I have used it successfully. I'd
hate like the dickens to read the great American novel

I thought it was just me. I also receive documents that the sender swears
are PDF's. When I start converting them, I hear the dreaded "empty
document". Since I have a little sight, I can see that

Convenient OCR not so much
All:
I thought there might be one redeeming virtue to JAWS 13, namely, Convenient OCR, or whatever it is called.
I regularly receive PDF documents that are, in fact, images. I also receive faxes

Same here. I would have joined in a heartbeat, but I just don't need any

PeopleSoft and other applications with JAWS
I noticed two queries in recent days about applications that rarely come up
on this list. One was PeopleSoft, but I've forgotten the other. I felt bad
that none of us had anything helpful to post in

Re: need help with jaws and windows xp
Hi,
Here's what I do to get to desktop properties.
1. Press windows+m or windows+d to bring focus to the desktop.
2. Press f5 to make sure nothing's selected.
3. Use the application (context menu)

Tom,
Yes, that looks like the right syntax with punctuations.

Re: excel
Joe,
Sounds like you have punctuation turned off because you're missing colons,
commas, parentheses, and quote marks.

MediSoft Software and JAWS?
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to begin school for Medical Coding/Billing in the fall and was told that I would be using the MediSoft software program that most offices and hospitals are using. Does anyone

Re: e-mailing of the list
Well, at least for me the source address shows up, so I can aalways
copy that and start a new message that will be private.
Of course, that only works if the address displayed is actually valid,
but
