Yes, I have often found that words are stated differently in “say All” as opposed to reading by word. Vocalizer Expressive is the worst with this.

Pronunciation changes in Vocalizer Expressive
Sometimes while reading a document, I notice that my Vocalizer Expressive voices have odd pronunciations for some common words. However, when I stop and use JAWS to hear the specific word pronounced

I don't think you can import Jaws 15 settings into Jaws 2021 any more.
Also, this is strictly my opinion and my advice, I recommend you learn Windows 10 as it is without trying to make it behave

Hi Annabelle,
The only differences might be something you haven't learned yet.
So whatever you knew in using Jaws will be the same.

Yes and no.
It is 7 versions newer. It is far more complex because it does so very much more, like OCR, picture description, and more.
But, I think the menus are very similar to the older Jaws.

I haven’t had much success with a repair. The best thing is to download a fresh version of JAWS from the Vispero web site and install it right on top of yours. You won’t have to authorize

It might not be a JAWS problem and you should maybe run diskcleanup to clean unwanted files on your hard drive. I would do that first before attempting to do a JAWS repair.

Yes, if you hold down the f1, f2 or f3 keys for about ten seconds, that should put the device in to pairing mode for that particular function key.

I just held down the device key I wanted to use.
Note, if you use the USB dongle with a computer, that takes up device 1.
So you have 2 bluetooth devices still available, or don’t use the USB
