Working with Excel worksheets and JAWS
I am using Windows 10, JAWS 2021 and Exscel 2016, which I just upgraded from Office 2007. I can no longer get JAWS curser to read the line at the bottom of a spread sheet where the list of sheets is.

Re: Tabbing around in outlook
Is this a general occurrence for you or only for e-mails from a specific vendor or service?
In web views, it is possible for a coder of the page to re-arrange tab order, and in with the use of CSS

Tabbing around in outlook
Hi,
When I open a new email to read and I use the tab key it goes to the first
link and reads it, but when I press tab again it says the name of the link
before.
Why?

Hey Thanks for the Script link, is there a way for NVDA as well? only
drawback I could see with both reader is they doesn't support for file
download, nor they will not read the file name.

For me, the iPhone app is more accessible and easier to use except for all the steps they make you take to open up a link.
For the desktop i use slack app which has a lot of built in shortcut

Hi.
I use Slack each day for my job. It has challenges, but overall, it is accessible.
These scripts helped me a great deal using Jaws.

Re: Slack and JAWS?
I found it pretty accessible with iPhone, but now os much on pc.
Of course, that was a year and a half ago, and when I saw that the iPhone worked, I didn't even bother with the pc.

And you'd be right, at least in your case, since it's happened repeatedly. BIOS is firmware (which is a somewhat more generic term) so you're absolutely right that when you see an update

Re: if you were getting a new HP EliteDesk 800 series computer.
I am in Canada so it probably wouldn't be very useful for me to look up whatever they cost right now. It's been quite some time since I bought one and that one came with an I7 processor.

This also happen in my Lenovo laptop and a few Lenovo laptops that I played with while helping someone to install Windows 10. I suspect the update which are listed as "firmware update" will restore

OK, cool. Thank you. I don’t have to pay for that? I do remember from a really long time ago a program called Talking Typer that you had to buy and install on your computer.

Please consider trying the online Talking Typer program from APH, fully accessible from any web browser.
Very screen reader friendly.

That’s a thing I’ve noticed with 2021, and it’s not just with Slack—I get it in Discord as well. My trick is to alt tab away from the window and then back.

Yes it’s accessible. The only thing I seem to have trouble with is opening links that gets sent through there. At least I’ve had trouble doing that with my iPhone. Does anyone know how to do that,
