I agree with Sharon; however, if you want to avoid clutter, instead of using control plus v to paste, try using the "paste special" option if, for example, you are using Microsoft Word or WordPad.

Kim, You would select the text as you do in any other program with shift+control+left and/or right arrows then control+c to copy. Press alt+tab to regain focus to the document where you want to paste
