Hi, Kevin. If you're using the Outlook email client,
1. Open Outlook.
2. Press ALT plus F, followed by T for Options.
3. Arrow down to Advanced, do not press ENTER.
4. TAB to a Send/Receive

Gail is blind and provides good descriptions to her cards. They come with a Braille overlay so they are accessible to blind and sighted.

You can also go into the application, press ins-space and z to use the
default settings of jaws. This is to test if your scripts can be the
cause of the problem.

Jaws menu ins-j, options and arrow to Manage specific application
settings.
You fcan turn them off or remove them.
Be carefull that you don't delete all your scripts by mistake:)
