Go to your start menu and open Adobe Reader.
Go to your edit menu and click on preferences.
Find General in the list and hit tab.

That was my feeling as well. That's why it's mind boggling that Read Out
Loud can read it while JFW cannot. JFW is not saying that the document is
empty it says blank as one is arrowing through the

What is Read Out Loud? Someone has to do optical character recognition on a scanned picture of a document. I should think that, unless Read Out Loud, has built-in OCR capabilities, it would be

This happens when the pdf is a scanned document. Jaws will say the document
is empty because it is only a picture and adobe reader doesn't have OCR.
