Thank you all for the suggestion. I've tried u and v and they work okay. I
can't get the hang of f7 but I'll keep trying.

you can left click as soon as you hear those balloons. unless you extended
the display before the balloons pop.
there used to be a script that would get these balloons, but they worked
only for JAWS

Re: shrinking white space on a braille display
Hi Phil,
The thing about the BrailleSetUnlimitedPixelsPerSpace script is that it's one-way. You push the key and it sets it to unlimited (actually 999) pixels per space, but the only way to turn that

Mine works properly for this specific example however, I am noticing some
other odd wad behavior from JAWS.

I don't know how to read those update messages either. I think they
are pop up balloons sighted users click on before they disappear. I
think you can force updates in the tools menu under internet

Re: JFW 14 and the In Box
Sorry for not making that clear. In outlook, it becomes k d 4 e x k k. In other words, the letter at the beginning of the group is repeated at the end. Guess I should have used a better example.

Re: script help
Hi;
I have Family Tree Maker. For over 20 years I have tweaked the Fs scripts.
When Fs stopped supporting FTM I kept tweaking the newer versions of FTM. I
am now using FTM2005with some success.

I haven't found line of text. is this a setting you have seen in one of the
jaws settings, or are you referring to modifying a script?
