Re: getting number of messages in inbox
Greetings:
The JAWS key with the Page Down key is what I use. Unless Outlook is really busy, this usually works.

Re: In Outlook, how do I "Click here to view in web browser?"
Hi Bill,
Do you perhaps have your Emails displayed as plain text, rather than HTML? If so, you won’t get it as a link.

Anyway, it doesn’t make sense, as the information you want is on the status line if you want the number of

Hi Chris,
Can you give the web site of the headset you speak of? I’m trying to use Dragon, and I have a hearing impairment, so the JAWS volume needs to be higher than most users.

Hi Brian!
Comments surrounding this topic draw out the fact that there are at least two different ways this issue happens: 1) as Bill has pointed out and as was my issue when there is no link

Re: help with Next Door if possible
A few years ago, I basically stopped using ND because it became *so* inaccessible. Before then, it was somewhat accessible. Shame on them.

Yep, if it says Filter Applied, press F6 to the Filters pane and then space on Clear All Filters, then OK.

Re: JAWS going silent after log in
Hi,
In JAWS Automatic Start up options, make sure both tick boxes to start before and after login are checked, and then set the combo box to Always.

Re: Help with JAWS
Hi Curtis,
I just unloaded JAWS and ran the installer, and it started talking to me in
US Tom's voice, so I know it's still there.

No, they haven't. I also just tried it.
Maybe it is defaulting to a soundcard that you can't hear?

can someone confirm the behaviour that Jaws does not read the AutomationProperties.HelpText for any UI element, if the AutomationProperties.Name attribute is set?
I would consider this a bug,

I have both the logitek H600 and the H800 and there is no leaking of the Jaws speech with either headset. I use them on most of my zoom meetings

Mike, thanks so much. It makes me feel better that it’s as much of a pain to use for sighted people as for us. I’ll work on it after a good night’s sleep! Thanks. Judy & Libby

Feliciano:
I have used both of these headsets. The microphones are not so sensitive as to pick up ambient sound. I have my microphone sensitivity in Zoom set to 100% with minimal noise
