Hi Adrian,
Whenever you invoke the, F6, key to highlight the address bar, invoke the
keystroke, Shift + F6, to take you off the address bar.

There is a difference between control+l and control+o. both bring up a field in which you type in a web address to go to. However, control+o sometimes works when control+l does not. I experience this

No, alt-d takes you to the address bar where you can type in the website you
want. It is easier to use control-o for accessing websites. I have never

Alt plus D will take you to the locator bar as well as function key F-6. I also use Control plus O. Whichever works.

Control O and Control L both work the same in Internet Explorer. Alt D is
supposed to do that as well. The only difference is you can actually read
or copy the address that is in the address bar

Yes, this would be the view and you could change it by going to the
view tab. In Word 2013, and I think 2010 as well, alt+W will get you
to the view tab. Then use your tab key to move through
