Re: What do I gain with Windows 10 as a blind person?
I wish that had been the case. I bought a Lenovo on sale. It has 12 gb RQAM
and 1 tb memory. My husband calls it "a Hummer." I said on Facebook that it
set me back but was not a set back.

I upgraded to Windows 10, and I don't plan to roll back to 8.1 because for
the most part, it works well for me.

I definitely agree with waiting until around the first of the year. That was
my initial intention until my programs began to die on me one at a time.

Carolyn,
Do I understand that you can still receive a free copy of Windows 10 for an
XP installation? I thought it was only available to Windows 7 and Windows 8
installations.

I came from XP, and wow, am I glad that I did. I never had 7, so I can't
speak for that. I've just been working on mine for about 24 hours, and I do
like it!

Hi, Les and Barbara. Could this problem with pressing:
ALT plus V, followed by C, followed by V,
be related to whether the Virtual Ribbon is checked or unchecked in your Default Configuration
