Hi, Karen. Here is more about the "Show Virtual Viewer on screen" check box, and about the Virtual Viewer itself. It comes from JAWS Help, Basic Settings, in the training help, Using JAWS.

If it is not in the System Tray, there may be other things that are going on to get it there. You may have to contact Tech Support at Freedom Scientific. It that doesn’t help fix the problem,

Re: checking the box for system tray
Hi,
Did you press ALT + F4 and restart JAWS?
After you restart JAWS, see if it is now in the System Tray.

Re: removing column and/or row titles in excel
Well I tried it, it did something but JAWS wasn't reading any of the titles like it does when you the insert+control+alt+C or R functions.
Thanks anyway!

No problem, and no apologies needed, perhaps my explanation of what I was looking for could have been better.
Like you, I am in the middle of an important project. In my case it is causing me a bit

removing column and/or row titles in excel
Hi everyone!
I know how to define a row or column as a column or row title, insert+control+alt+C or insert+control+alt+R.
But I cannot find how to remove a previously defined column or row title.
