Re: How to see what I have running in background?
I tried that and found out stuff was saying 32 bit; here I thought I had 64, even thought I had gotten 64 JAWS and updates. I will get my husband to check for sure.
Bye for now,
Carolyn

Hi James,
Yes, you can turn off most of the apps that run in the background. Here is what you do. Press windows+I to bring up the settings app in win10. Next, find the privacy group and press enter.

Re: How to see what I have running in background?
Hi Mike,
You can try pressing, Jaws / Insert key + F10, to see a list of running programs. Or, press, Jaws / Insert key + F11, to see what's going on in the System Tray.
Take care.

How to see what I have running in background?
Hi,
I’ve just fired up my laptop, running W7 with JAWS 16.0.
This happens a lot; once first fired up, it runs sluggishly slow for the first 10-15 minutes or so. I’m going nuts right now trying

Re: Windows 10, JAWS 17 and sluggishness
Hi Joseph,
Sorry it's taken me awhile to get back to this.
I upgraded from Windows 7. No, I've not heard of repair. How is this done?

Re: Address book
Any chance you might send me some info on how to get my contacts, within my MS Office Outlook program on my laptop; into my IPhone?
I do have ITunes loaded on my laptop, but when using JAWS it's hard

Re: How to run as administrator in outlook 2016
I am glad to know I am not the only one suffering. I have been working with the Accessibility team at Microsoft for 2 weeks & Outlook still doesn't work. Would it be better to use my Outlook 2010?
