Re: QUICK Pole on some keystrokes and concepts
I don't use the num pad except for the insert key plus num pad 2 for reading. I also use the control plus tab on the web.

I use the numpad for arrowing around. I find that then my home and end keys are right there and so is the slash and star keys for simulating the mouse clicks. Save me a lot of hand movement.

I use the arrow keys for the most part. I like to work with tabs rather than multiple windows.

Re: JAWS "40-minute mode"
No the 40 minute mode applies that once you've hit the 40 minutes you have to reboot your whole computer before you can start jaws again at least that's the way it used to be

Hi,
by and large I use the number pad when available. And I usually default to shift enter over control enter as that’s how I was initially taught to do both things about which you asked.

Re: Running Jaws/NVDA and Zoom Text as a high bred system for a client
Thank you very much for your thoughts on this. I am heading in this direction right now, my I-T guy put a MAGic demo on the server in my lab today to start using on some of the computers in there.

The FS tech person said control+tab. This is maybe true with the Doug Lee scripts, but they won't install on my computer.

jaws keeps saying clickable in Firefox 46
Fellow Listers: Jaws 17 keeps saying clickable every few words when reading a NY Times article in Firefox 46. I am running a windows 7 machine.
How can I get rid of these unwanted clickables?
