Yes, I specifically avoided mentioning using the default configuration file for this procedure. One wouldn't want the Greater Than symbol to be ignored in all programs.

That would work pretty well, as long as you did not hit the Shift-Control-D to make that work in all programs.

2. Press Jaws Key plus the letter D to open the Dictionary Manager.

is dictionary a TB plugin or do you mean using an actual dictionary? using an actual dictionary is not practical for a legally blind user, unless it is a computer program.

Well, TB is nice and does all what I need: I do not use spell checker
because there are other means, like dictionary, to check for correct
writing of words.

I would tend to agree. This was the primary reason I wanted to test Cortana out. Many other things I would do with her, i.e. check weather, sports scores, etc. I do now with SIRI on my iPhone
