I think I may change to that after my subscription with AVG runs out. I have the paid version.

Re: Request For Steps For Successfully Downloading, Accessing, And Installing New Jaws Vocalizer Voices
Under the JAWS help menu, second item, is "Get more voices".
I would start there.

I enjoy using the built-in antivirus windows defender. McAfee is accessible if you want to go that route. That is what I have on my work computer

I do not like AVG as well as I used to. It used to be more user-friendly, especially when it came to configuring certain settings.

Melissa & Laura,
If you are someone who has not had anything quarantined in as long as you can remember then virtually any antivirus or security suite will do.
I used to love AVG

Thanks, I did go to the migrate choice in the utilities list but it got hung up and generated an error choice report.

I'm not sure about that, but if you press insert plus control plus s, you will be quickly able to choose the last saved voice profile. In other words, if you're listening to Nathan and you

Re: JAWS 18 and Vocalizer Premium Difficulties
Thanks, finally found the list and am running with Nathan for a test drive.
Is there a way to have similar settings with previous voices or are manual changes required? Thanks.

They are listed under person, not under synthesizers. Synthesizers
will list "eloquence", "vocalizer direct (factory default)",

I hear that McGaffey is user-friendly, but I am not sure. I too have AVG, and would like to switch to something else. It is not as user-friendly as it used to be.

Hi Sieghard,
You can get your default back. Or rather, when you make changes to the default script, JAWS saves it into a different location so you can delete that and return to the original.
