Unicode Characters
Hi, it's Annabelle.
I wonder, would JAWS recognize things like different types of lines? For example, bright vertical lines and Dark Squiggly Lines? Where would I find them on the Windows Character

Could it be that the sound is there to provide a guide for how loud or soft the volume is getting as you press the up or down button? Keith

Hi Sieghard,
There may be a way to stop that from playing, but not certain how to do
that. I can tell you, however, that when system sounds get low for some
reason, that keystroke has really helped

When focus is on picture placeholder use your arrow keys to move it around. Jaws will tell you if they are still overlapping and where it is doing so

Just sitting here in Outlook, the minute I pressed
Alt-Enter, I got the message, creating a hot key for JAWS.
Bye for now,
Carolyn

Re: Creating hot key for Jaws
Understood, Mike.
So, just to be sure I’m accurate, is it correct that when on the Jaws desktop icon, you can get to properties either via the applications key context menu, or via alt enter?

Re: Creating hot key for Jaws
Hi Melissa & Tom,
I'm sure it was a typo on Melissa's behalf, but the shortcut to get to properties is not, Control + Enter, it is, Alt + Enter.
Take care.
