Re: Keyboard Manager in JAWS and Beyond
I'm not sure I've ever encountered a keyboard that did not already
have a bump molded onto the NumPad 5 key (just like the home-row f and
j keys)

I've actually used that stuff to mark my measuring cup. With lines in different lengths to denote one quarter cup. One half cup ETC. It's nice because I think this stuff is "Food Quality" and is not

Re: Keyboard Manager in JAWS and Beyond
I'd say if you really want to get your "Speed Bumps"; locating Dots, to stay put for a long time: Try putting one drop of Crazy Glue on each dot. I know you'd need the help of a sightling to do this,

I'm sure there are dots and there are dots which is why I asked so it's good to know that some of them leave behind unwanted stickyness if they come off. That is one advantage of the glue or whatever

Which dots do you guys find work the best with respect to staying on and so on. I have in the past asked sighted friends to use this glue stuff that you can use to make raised lines or dots for this

Re: Accessing File Types in Windows 7
Annabelle,
Try using the main program file for East/West and see if it will work on a .CHO file. It might be smart enough to open the Wordbuilder function.

Re: Accessing File Types in Windows 7
Like I've said in an earlier post, the dictionary has nothing to do with what I'm trying to achieve. I'm trying to make Windows, not JAWS, but Windows, recognize the .cho extension as an Eastwest

Re: Stopping JAWS from reporting slide number when on a PowerPoint slideshow
You can go into the JAWS sound settings and change its audio device and set it to headphones, also, you could just mute JAWS with the layered keystroke, JAWS/Spacebar and then the letter S for speech.
