Hi Tom,
Superscript is a toggle, like underlining (control-u) and italics (control-i). Here are the keystrokes for superscript and, for good measure, subscript:

Were I you, and since you say there are no formats that you intended to apply, I'd copy the content of the file, paste it into Notepad, delete what's in the Word file, then copy what's in the Notepad

That's why I have a trackball, it's easier for me to use than a mouse and when I have a sighted assistant helping me, it's easier for them to use than the touch pad, which I have disabled

I have a mouse but that's because I turned the touchpad on my laptop off as I was forever bumping it but I only get it out when I need sighted assistance that requires the use of a mouse

I just checked, TPM 2.0 is apparently still required because it was the only thing preventing me from being able to upgrade and Windows update is still telling me I'm not eligible.

I can’t get them selected though… When I hold down shift and press the down arrow all Jaws says is that space is selected
