Mike, I apologize. Here it is. The default is white even though JAWS says something different. To change the color you need to begin typing then alt p for options and then find background. There is a

The spelling is caret for the character, not carrot (like the vegetable), although they are homonyms. It is also known as the circumflex and, less frequently, as the chevron.

I really messed up with that dictation. JAWS is lying. Mine does the same thing. I have asked people and the print is not black. The command to get into your colors is alt g then pc.

The odds of you stumbleing across this command if it even exist useing the insert + 1 help are very low. Just call VFO and ask them. I honestly dont think this is an option with Jaws but VFO will

My jars tells me that too but it usually isn't black on black. John's is just lying there. At least, that is true with my jars.

i have always had great success using shelly. i put the pitch at 70 and my speed is 35. she works great.
