Yes, that JAWS override setting needs to be off. Sorry I missed that in your first post. Glad you bent it to your will.

Re: using find in notepad
I have my scriptures in Notepad. I want to go to a verse so I type 8:1 and press enter. It just keeps saying 8:1 & when I hit escape it keeps saying 8:1. If I type a word it doesn’t say 4 results

I found it! What was needed was to turn "Define Name Column and Row Titles Override" off.
Thanks for your attempt to help, it was appreciated.

Row titles are in cells A2 to A16. I highlighted the entire block of cells when I defined the name and the name I typed in was rowtitles just as you said.
I just loaded another spreadsheet that I had

Hi Gene,
Well, since you didn't provide a lot of info regarding where the values you want to be row titles are located, it's a bit difficult to diagnose the issue.

Didn't think about that less then trivial issue of renewing the count.
That, indeed, would become an issue; you're right on target.

Also, the SMA is better if you want use older versions of windows.
But if FS wasn't around to renew the three counts, would it still work?

I don't remember how it worked when I bought JAWS. I am assuming in my calculations about cost that JAWS doesn't come with any upgrades (SMAs) or if you need to start paying for SMAs if you want even

Actually, I agree too. The perpetual license is better. In my previous message where I said that annual is better, I was looking only at cost. Not everyone can afford that initial $1,100 outlay.

Bill
I agree with you entirely. The SMA makes you an owner of Jaws while the
annual license effectively makes you a renter subject to eviction if you
forget or fail to renew.
