I moved from Window Eyes to JAWS about a year ago, at the same time I upgraded to Windows 10. The JAWS cursor is somewhat like the Window Eyes cursor, but I am definitely not finding it as

George, for question #1, when composing an email in WLM, press alt+i and
then i and a. that'll get you started.
for question #3, the pc cursor follows the system focus such as pressing
the tab key,

If you are talking about Jaws do the following:
Press Jaws Key + 6 for the Settings Centre
Press Control + Shift + D to open the Default Settings
Type "Key Label" in the search field and tab once,

A sighted person can install talkback for you. I suspect the install is system specific, strongly doubt you can just move it to another computer.

Someone asked me the other day how to silence certain keys such as TAB and ENTER. I mistakenly told them to delete the items from KM. I think I got to them in time to tell them that this was the wrong

I don't have JAWS handy, but when NVDA is running these navigation commands for next and previous read and unread messages work just fine. No pass-through key needed.
