If you are in the message list you can also press Control+Shift+Tab to go into the folders list. Not sure why F6 or Shift+F6 is less convenient than Tab and Shift+Tab, it's the same amount

I figured it out. From the message list, pressing shift-f6 moves focus to the folder pane. From the folder pane, pressing F6 moves focus back to the message list. This new method is not as convenient

It was mainly the keys like escape, alt F4 being spoken I wished to silence but now have the instructions.

I'm not sure if your issues are being caused by Outlook or JAWS 2019.
I ran into so many issues with JAWS 2019 that I am using 2018 until an update comes out for 2019.

I have JAWS 18 which is not set to automatically start at boot up, and
JAWS 2018 is set to automatically start at boot up. but when the
computer is booted/rebooted, JAWS 18 automatically starts

training.exe or something like that.
