Re: Zoom Question Re Muting Jaws
Tom all you have to do is hit alt WIN plus S. It’s a toggle. And you should have your audio muted always unless you raise your hand to speak.

I forgot to mention an easy solution to the issue of silencing JAWS while in
a Zoom meeting. Just use headphones. I had this issue just the other day
and headphones worked well.

Re: Zoom Question Re Muting Jaws
While JAWS is in the silent mode you describe, how do you invoke a JAWS
reading command, I assume something like JAWS key + down arrow? I tried it
just now but no JAWS speech at all.

Perhaps speech on demand, where JAWS only speaks when you actively press a read command. Invoke it with insert+spacebar, then s. Return to full speech with the same keystroke.

Yes, no rhyme or reason to this and when it does occur it is out of the blue with no warning.

Re: Chrome commands question using Windows 10 and JAWS 2020
You can go to chrome settings, advanced, downloads, and activate that toggle that says "ask where to save each download" or something, if you want a prompt.
Ctrl-j will also take you to your downloads

The tab key isn’t limited to links. It also takes you through some form controls. The Inee Linkee is very easy and responsive, especially if you set it up the way I have it where I don’t even have

Patrick,
My experience with Chrome is that when I click on a download link, the file is downloaded without any confirmation. The way to find out if it's arrived in your system is to press shift-F6.
