Mine works fine, I just now tested it with JAWS 2019. Try pressing down arrow instead of left/right arrow. Up/down travel inside the category.

Yes, there is no startup option since Outlook will always check for new mail at startup. If you want to configure send/receive behavior you need to go down to Advanced and click the Send/receive

With the latest update to Jaws, I can now no longer read the Windows emoji panel. It apparently does pop up, and I can arrow around and pres Enter to insert emojis, but Jaws speaks nothing at

I am using Office 2019 and within the options > mail settings, there is only an auto check for new mail upon exiting, not at start-up.

In that group there is nothing about startup, just schedule
send/receive after so many minutes set to 30.

I transcribe in a Word document so I have the full functionality of Word. If I need to tweak the play back I switch to Express Scribe and then back to Word.

Make sure that under Send and Receive (my shortcut is ALT plus CONTROL plus
S) that your account is set to send and receive at startup.

Like I said before, I don't have $99.00. My machine hasn't given me any nagging notifications, everything works fine the way it is. I'm going to try Munawar Bijani's suggestion of Code Blocks.
