Firefox is very good but as one who is on the net for work and reading the most reliable and acceptable across platforms , in my opinion, is still IE.

I agree completely. NoteTab Pro is one that will not work with the new method, so I have to have the driver on for that.

It was just that in your first response, you didn't say whose formula had the smart quotes, but Russell clarified that his Mac was set to use smart quotes, which he has now turned off.

Yes, all browsers do. In chrome, hit jaws+v to open the settings, type refr in the box, hit tab and you should be able to change the refresh setting from automatic, 60 seconds or off if

You will find too, that if you search for books with an apostrophe in the title, the smart single quote, which is supposed to be the apostrophe won't return any

I know what they are, but you did not say if Russell had smart quotes or if I had smart quotes.
I'm blind and Jaws said the exact same thing in reading both versions.
