Re: word count in MS Word
I don't think the keystrokes for this have changed in quite a while.
I don't remember now if it was the same in word 2003, which is the one I started with, but I know there were keystrokes to get it

Re: word count in MS Word
With the current version of Microsoft 365, once focused on the Status bar with F6, you can indeed use the context menu (application) key to get access to the Status Bar options.

Hi,
As an alternative key combination to obtain word count, you can press ALT R then W. This works in word 2016, not sure about other versions.

To show number of lines, line number, or many other options in the status bar in Word try the following:
1. Press F6 until Status bar is highlighted. Or, until you hear Jaws report, Status Toolbar.

Accessibility of Open Broadcaster Software with JAWS
Hi All
I’ve recently heard of Open Broadcaster Software. Does anyone know how accessible it is with JAWS?
Thanks

Jaws +f gives the font, but its the same, the colors are what is
different, and although the person says isomething was hilighted, that

If one just wants to read what is highlighted, the Jaws hotkey

hmmm, jaws +f2 just says custom hilight and you can set the foreground
and background, but seems no way to read them.

Re: how to read highlighted text on web page
One thought is to place focus on each of the options and, in each case, press JAWS key+f to compare fonts, etc. This may be all you need. Otherwise, it may tell you how the highlighted text differs
