Re: Accessible app to map menu key
Hello David:
I installed Smartkeys this afternoon.
I already have left and right Windows keys. On European keyboards, the right ALT is configured, by default, as a combined ALT+ctrl key.

Re: Used computer
Thanks Dave, but I have that Win 7 PE. It was recommended by Glenn on this list. That is how I was able to get the computer cleaned up.

Hello David:
If it is possible, if you are using a UK keyboard, how do you change the right ALT key, which is set to being a combined ALT+CTRL key, to being just the right ALT key?

In my humble opinion, place markers is one of the best aspects of JAWS and why I keep up with it.

Re: Accessible app to map menu key
Yes I think you need version 3, from memory to work on Windows 10.
It is extremely easy. Just hit the add button, then select the key you want to change from a drop down list and then tab to the next

Thanks all. Glad to understand this better. I need to get better about using place markers for some of my more challenging internal company websites. Funny how we can just forget about

Re: Accessible app to map menu key
Jaws has a key map feature that would work, but I believe you will need to do something with the control key.
Perhaps you could change whatever control + enter does or what control + windows does to

I always use sharp keys. You should be able to google for this. If not I will send you a link.

Hi,
I would like to share the steps to make JAWS announce time for two time zones from the system clock in the notification area if any one finds it useful. We don’t need to use any third party app
