Hi again, Stephanie. One thing you might consider is this, you can customize Windows so that it doesn't load some programs that you know you won't use when Windows starts. You can change this behavior

Doesn’t the Pro version of Jaws give access to Remote Desktop where the home edition doesn’t?

I suspect that soon we will only be able to get Jaws from the Microsoft app store and it will know which version is right for our system by detecting our operating system that we are on the page

I can answer the mute question.
Press insert+space, then s.
That puts it into Speech On Demand. So, if you issue a reading command, it will read, otherwise it will stay silent.

I belong to a Rock Chir which is currently having to meet via Zoom. So everyone doesn’t hear Jaws
