I use Edge, but since Edge and Chrome use the same rendering engine, I beleive the settings will be the same.
In settings in the download section there is an option to be asked what to do with each

I'd be selective (pun accidental) in making this choice. Hearing "not selected" has saved me thousands of times from pasting a file into, rather than alongside, another file. I'd open the program

It was actually in text processing in the general section and is the list item setting. There are four options, say both, say selected, say not selected, and say none. I have say none selected. Sounds

hi. incert 6 for settings manager. arrow once and press t for text annalizer. arrow down to say not selected. press spacebar to change it if you wan't. if you tab once it will explain the differences.

Another thing worthy to try is to go to control panel, make sure to set the display to small icon or large icon. After that go into sound, underplayback tab choose speaker and go to its property. From

I knew of that setting and it didn't do anything for this problem. Apparently the Realtec drivers very aggressively put the audio system hardware to sleep to save on battery usage and it takes too
