For certain items JAWS OCR is more accurate. Hopefully Vespero will take time to revamp and update Openbook. The program lacks in many areas including bugs in the settings center.

I have both available on K1000, FineReader is fine as long as you want all your text de-columnized, that is a feature that can't be turned off, apparently, and it makes a complete hash of certain

Well, the actual editor inside doesn't work as well as I'd like for screen-readers as far as I can see so far. I think it'd be possible to scan stuff and then convert to your file format of choice and

I currently don't have OB installed on this computer, and I have a PDF which is a damned PDF manual, don't you just love those things?
