I want it to speak those characters with punctuation set to none, but when it speaks them, it does so twice.

This is why I explained how the settings in here work. He's getting double speak for punctuation marks by setting that mark on, None, when if it were set on, All, it might be different.

I thought those Alt+left arrow and alt+right arrow keystrokes sounded familiar, they don't switch you from one tab to another, instead they are the keyboard equivalents for the back and forward

I called Vispero, who confirmed the extension is broken with NVDA and JAWS. The agent helping me said it looks like a Chrome update, or an update to the Wordle extension broke

These aren't JAWS commands, but Windows'. They won't work if you've opened a new window, such as by pressing shift-enter. They work if you press enter on a link.

Hi, Mike. Dennis isn't drawing attention to the fact that the punctuation is spoken. The bug he is reporting is that the punctuation symbols are being spoken multiple times.
