Re: very annoying issue whenever I open Edge
I must say I'm having a similar difficulty getting to this area, and I've followed Bill's instructions to the letter. Edge's settings seem to work differently on different systems.

Perhaps the USB is corrupted? Have you tried shutting down your computer and bringing it back up and trying again?

Thanks for this Bill; however when I go to settings the only stuff that shows up
is things about my profile, there don't seem to be any other categories. Any
idea why this might be and what I can do

Karen
Thanks for allerting us that this exists.
HOpefully, someone can outline the steps to do this in -- having Edge open
blank -- as that's an attractive thing in my mind.

Re: problem with search box
Thank you Adrian. I wasn’t the person who asked the question, but I’m so glad to read your suggestion. I’m tired of searching through Amazon for a particular item and having to read through

very annoying issue whenever I open Edge
Hi all,
Whenever I open Microsoft Edge to do a search I either get breaking news alerts
or search suggestions (Amazon, Facebook and many other things) before I've even
typed anything into the search

Finding number of pages in Adobe, was: reading pdfs
You can find out the number of pages in a PDF document, among other metadata, by going to the document’s Properties.
Once you are in the document, press control d, and you will then have a number

Re: reading pdfs
As an experiment I paste a PDF document into word and it was 25 pages in length. How can I determine how many pages is the original document when I open it in Adobe? Also, how do you open the PDF file
