Can someone send eme these scripts? I have tried downloading via multiple different computers/browsers even using wget in Linux and I keep getting a 403 error, or other errors.

Actually, there is no real reason for turning off JAWS when running a repair. I never have been advised to do that in the past.

Well, I had start JAWS on startup for “this user field” checked , but had not checked “all users”, so did that and it took care of it. Since I’m only one using PC, thought the way I had it

Sounds like you set Jaws to speak in the login window, but not when starting. Go through the Jaws startup options in the Jaws settings. HTH. Glenn
