Robin,
I can't say where anything actually came from, but this is not new. If a hyperlink in a document is for an external webpage, you must hit CTRL + Click (or its equivalent) to activate it once

Hi, if it is an editable document you need to turn the quick keys on first. You do this by pressing jaws key + z. Then the links will work if you hit enter on them.
Hope this helps.

You had to best us all! As long as I arrow one or two characters into the link, your simple method works correctly. Can’t believe I didn’t try this before.

All you need to do is to hit Enter on the link. No need to do any fancy JAWS cursor stuff or use the applications key to find the open hyperlink.

Switching Sound Cards, Sorted
Please ignore my previous message, I have managed to find it now, I didn’t realise that using the keyboard help function would announce the layered keys.

Re: unable to get JAWS to read a different page than the one I'm on
Hi All
I wonder if it would work properly if you set the reading options to “read The Visible Pages Only” instead of “read the entire document”? Haven’t been able to try it here but hope

Go to notepad settings center, insert+number 6; at the end of the settings list it says "last changed settings". Perhaps the inadvertent change will be listed there? I hope.
