Re: unable to get JAWS to read a different page than the one I'm on
Greetings:
I can confirm that this is a problem of late. This feature used to work, but at some point, it all failed in terms of jumping quickly from one page to another in Acrobat Reader DC.

unable to get JAWS to read a different page than the one I'm on
Hi,
There's probably an obvious solution to this, but I'm not finding it!
Here's an example:
I'm on page 1 of a pdf.
I use CTRL+Shift+N to go to another page, for example, page 40.
The popup appears

Albert,
The more I look at this, the more I don’t think the zoom level will matter to you. When I’m in my inbox, I’m now hearing my zoom level is set to 10%, too. Since I have enough vision

Indeed, but that's not the default state, and I'd presume that someone would know if they've removed it, as it's not a simple matter to do (as it's the reverse of your instructions to add it back

The file size won’t show up in details view if it was removed from one of the columns in the sort options.
To check to see if it’s checked, in a folder in File explorer, have nothing

Albert,
Are you using the JAWS virtual ribbon? If so, I would turn it off and then try my earlier instructions again. They are based entirely on the native Home ribbon in the message reading

I did forget to mention that it is very likely, if you're currently zoomed to any level but one of those three, that the level will likely be focused on that custom box when you open the Zoom Dialog.

I am going to presume the question is referring to the message reading Window. If so, try the following:
1. Hit ALT + H, Q1 [Message Ribbon, Zoom]
2. The Zoom Dialog opens showing 3 preset zoom

Hi Barbara,
Right arrowing in Details view will tell you the size of files, but not folders. To hear folder size, with focus on the folder, press Alt Enter to get into properties and press Insert B.
