Re: Question about adjusting the zoom using outlook with office 365.
I am going to presume the question is referring to the message reading Window. If so, try the following:
1. Hit ALT + H, Q1 [Message Ribbon, Zoom]
2. The Zoom Dialog opens showing 3 preset zoom

Hi Barbara,
Right arrowing in Details view will tell you the size of files, but not folders. To hear folder size, with focus on the folder, press Alt Enter to get into properties and press Insert B.

Hi,
When you open JAWS, you need to go down, or across, depending on how you have JAWS configured.
But when you hear Options, try pressing B for Braille.

Morey, If I remember right and you are the one having trouble editing in a cell in Excel, than you want to uncheck that box that says Allow editing in a cell. I know that this sounds strange, but

No, this is not a JAWS settings issue. Perhaps we can chat offline.

Hi Curtis,
OK I did as you directed. I still do not hear the figure for the size. Is there something I also need to do in the JAWS settings?
Thanks.

In Excel, check the Options > Advanced dialog to see if allow editing directly in cells is checked. In extremis this is what I would do barring simply upgrading to the most current

Hi Morey,
You mentioned that you are using Excel 2007. I am pretty sure that is your problem. As recently as Office 2016, reading characters inside Excel often misbehaved in the ways you describe.

I went back to Jaws 2018, and Jaws 2020, keep them around for just this type of thing, and both of them work just fine, meaning the numpad keys for selecting text, etc.
Why not working in

Will give the numlock thing a try.
In a given cell if there is a formula, the jaws/ctr/f2 keystrokes will read formula, but, again, if try to edit the formula using f2 key, cannot get it to move to
