I don't have that issue, but time to upgrade perhaps? JAWS 18 is a bit long in the tooth now.
All the best

Yes. My computer was online. I have Jaws 2020 2021 and 2022. I use the offline file, and the online smaller file. When I write and click and do OCR with jaws it simply says component is not installed.

Re: Jaws and emogies
Hi, Judy. Because your JAWS is set to either Punctuation some, or none, you aren't hearing the period after the plus sign. It's Windows plus the period. You don't use the plus sign.

Hi, you said press windows key and then plus. That doesn’t work for me. If I press windows then have to do shift equals sign to get plus it doesn’t work. Judy

Re: Jaws 2021 and OCR component not install
Hi, James. I think the problem is due to the fact that JAWS must be
installed first, followed by OpenBook, not the other way round.

Jaws and emogies
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to insert emogees into email messages using Jaws? I know
Jaws reads them and so if possible I'd love to know how to put them into email
