I am not quite sure I understand what you mean by your first example, as the default windows indexing includes both file names and contents which can get messy as far as results go. That's one

To be perfectly honest, I'd give up on setting the defaults, and use the search operators Windows Search gives you to limit your searches.

1. Open Control Panel.
2. Press the letter I until the screen reader says Indexing Options. Press ENTER on

Hi, Dennis. The first thing I would have tried is a repair of JAWS 2021. I suspect that, if you relied on the migration feature of JAWS to bring your settings from JAWS 2020 forward to JAWS 2021,

Page name repeats when loading a page
When a webpage loads, I notice JAWS will repeat it's title, sometimes up to 3 times. I tried searching for an answer to why,, but without luck. Anyone notice this or can explain why?

I've experimented with Eclipse under Linux. I think it's Ctrl-F6 to move between components, not F6. Check the list of keyboard shortcuts, which should be available via your preferred Web search

Now, when it sees something like 12th, it reads it as 1 2 t h.
It reads 2nd not as second, but 2 n d.
