Also, seeing AI can read most screens like this.
The only thing you cannot tell with seeing AI is what is currently selected.

hello sieghard, I checked my task manager on my laptop and it is blank. I do not have anything loaded but Jaws. i will call Be my Eyes and ask them to take a look on my screen to see if there is any

hi Jm, I tried the method that you recommended, and it doesn't work. I was able to turn off the screen and the keyboard but I am not able to turn off the fan and the LED light.

I don't think there is necessarily a need for a clean install, you can always do one if you find there are issues, but I would do the in-place upgrade first and if all is well you save yourself a lot

You can press jaws key + 3 to pass the next key through to whatever application. This will make jaws ignore whatever you type net.
