Re: JAWS 2022 provides a way to avoid AutoMigration feature
That is interesting, I initially had some issues with Jaws 2022 not reading the message status in Outlook like Unread, Replied, Forwarded etc. and Jaws read the column headers in front of each field

I agree, but my answer concerned Maria’s question that if you install the current beta, it silently migrates. If you are unhappy with that, you can always reset to factory defaults, so you don’t

Steve, I think you are catching up with this thread,
The latest news is there will be a checkbox up front before installation happens to not migrate your settings, so no need to go back to factory

Yep, it’s a bit unhappy at the moment the beta.
I even found an Email where it wouldn’t read the subject line at all in the message list of Outlook 365. Going back to JAWS 2021, it worked.

Hi,
It really depends who you are.
I personally like to adopt early, because then we can give feedback. If no blind person adopted early, then Microsoft wouldn’t know if their accessibility

Yes, the beta silently migrates settings, but it also has an option to reset back to factory.
All the best

Hi Rick,
If you have a Wordpress Website, I highly recommend Jetpack CRM. It is currently free for a year I believe, and is very accessible with JAWS.
If not, I don’t know, but I integrated

To ad to what Brian wrote, once you type it in the search box and hear JAWS read off the program name, you can hit the application key and select pin to Start or pin to taskbar to find it more easily

On the other hand, VMs can be very useful for testing.
I personally appreciate Joseph’s explanations and I consider myself very technical, probably more so than you, if you don’t use VMs.

Re: Is there dramatic changes to windows10 most recent version
Well, speaking for myself, yes, when calling MS help, I have heard chickens in the background or specifically a rooster. I found it amusing. The main thing was, the agent was not distracted by it.

That's always the case as time marches on. And not just with Windows. You use the operating system of your choosing that's supported by the maker of your choosing.
But the makers of the OSes

I honestly think just like with what windows 10 did, we’ll have to except windows 11.

Dave, if the computer is eligible for Windows 11, the user does not have to necessarily accept the upgrade?
so does that mean the upgrade is an optional upgrade, and at some point, do you think it
