Okay, we do the same, here. Windows + L locks the screen, Ctrl+Alt+Delete to
invoke the password prompt to unlock again. Gets to be a habit, doesn't it?

It's what happens when you invoke a screen saver. As we deal with
sensitive data, we do an alt-ctrl-delete when we walk away; I guess I
should have used the word "lock" to describe the function.

Yep, checked all that. Putting it to sleep caused the problem, doing it
again solved it; go figure.

There is no JAWS keystroke involved in reading that text. If you can read
the text on sheet1 with JAWS you should still be able to read the reference
text on sheet2. I think you need to enable

Happens to me all the time. Usually JAWS will come back after taking a
breather for 20 to 40 seconds. Hang in there next time, and see if it does
come back on its own. I have no idea why it does

How do I do this in Jaws 13? I don't see a clear settings control like they used to have. I guess I have to delete the .jsi file in PersonalizedSettings folder, but Jaws help doesn't say.

This can have a number of causes. One cause is that the link is bringing up an inordinate number of graphics. Another reason might be an incomplete load of a page.

Jaws stops talking after clicking some links
Jaws 13 sometimes stops talking when I click a link in IE8. I am able to start Narrator but am not able to navigate my computer. But, when I press the power button to shut down, Jaws starts talking.
