If you have a lot of small files, the used space will look smaller
than your actual space. Also, you might have a lot of restore points,
which I think are not counted.

One last thing for me on this conversation. If you are still learning braille and 'use JAWS, I believe that the Focus displays have 2 routing keys and that one of these keys can be used for a braille

I find the opposite with the Orbit Reader 40.
It is a great display to use with Jaws. It has the 40 cells and cursor routing keys which help a lot when editing.

I do find a Braille display useful for editing, though I generally don't have mine hooked up unless I am writing computer code which has to be very precise.
JAWS does have a "structured braille mode"
