When I migrated from 2020 to 2021, it caused the Calculator app not to work properly. Had to delete the settings to fix the problem.

Hi, Robin. I don't think they are being too cautious. I think that may have been the problem with another user who recently had to do a restore because JAWS lost all the sounds associated with JAWS.

OK Problem sorted – I did a Windows System restore back to yesterday before I installed the latest Jaws update and everything is back to normal now.
I think this is one update I will skip.

At this point, I would completely uninstall JAWS and install a fresh copy. It may work keeping your settings when you remove this version but, if you don’t have anything else using

Jaws with eloquence is speaking fine – it is the sound events which are the issue.

Hi, Milton. David didn't lose his system sounds, only those like the "enter and exit form field" sounds and the sound JAWS makes when you press INSERT plus SPACE.
