I Would second the Outlook option, Outlook 2016 is extremely powerful, just takes time to get used to it.

then it's a matter of right clicking the link and entering on "copy link location" or something to that affect, open a browser and pressing control+l or alt+d, and control+v to paste the link address

Funny you mention this, as I had this exact problem with a recent e-mail. A
friend sent me several Dropbox links, all of which I could open either by
press enter on the link or using the context menu

The only time I have to copy a link is from a calendar reminder within the Outlook calendar. Those links always have the http so you know it's a link. Most of the time these are Zoom meetings so I

Frequently I see two links for a site, one is labelled graphic and th other
is not. Clicking on the graphic link acts like you say, the other link
usually does what is wanted.

Ok..but it's still a link...it just has an html text message attached to it
that says " click here". It's been a while and of course it's e-mail client
dependent, but you should be able to expose it
