Oh, that’s good! You might experiment with OneDrive and versions to avoid future issues.

CathyAnne,
I was using Word, but I hadn’t saved it in One Drive. My bad. I do have an older copy of my first draft. So things could be worse.
Thanks for responding.

It's nice to have a keystroke do one thing, like Udo's script does.
I'm surprised something dedicated to letting the user know if forms mode is on or off isn't already built into JAWS. It seems

What application were you using?
If you were using Word and had your document uploaded to OneDrive, you may be able to recover a version in the backstage info property sheet.

I'm assuming the keystroke you've given is for the laptop layout but, the Active Cursor keystroke for desktop layout is, Alt + Delete.
Stay safe and take care. Mike.

Did you check in settings center (insert-6) for Skip Blank Lines While Navigating in the

This is turned on in default for me but off in Outlook.

eliminate annoucement of blank lines in Outlook JAWS 2021
Hello,
I am wondering if there is a means to have JAWS ignore blank lines
when reading a message in Outlook?
I receive many emails per day and it would be pleasant if there is a

Hello,
I know the script was not very difficult to implement, but there is already something quite similar built into JAWS.
The keystroke alt-numlock period will tell you the active cursor. Sometimes
