Two things.
I’m pasting the link to the help documentation online so you can read through its offerings.
Also, it is very sluggish with both Jaws and NVDA. There is a dealy after each

LibreOffice question
At David’s recommendation, I install LibreOffice as an alternative when I might need a different program than the Microsoft Office.
Jaws seems rather sluggish after opening a word document.

Hi. OpenOffice and LibreOffice are very similar and they may appear identical on the surface, especially for users of screen readers. However, OpenOffice has a very slow development cycle.

My 2 cents would be to call the Microsoft Accessibility desk. After all it’s a Microsoft product and who knows they may know of some weird settings or something that will make it work. Because

I would not depend on Google Docs. Open Office works fine until someone can get Word.I am not sure about the other one that has been mentioned Libre or something like that.

windows narrator, hyper v and windows server issues for a blind student
Hi. Have two issues using hyper v with narrator.
When creating a vm, and then installing windows server 2019. Have not tried it with 2016. Narrator does not turn on, just hear caps lock on and off.

I don't know exactly when this function was implimented, but I do believe it has been available for a long time, at least since version 10.
