Re: Route jaws to PC no longer working
This might sound crazy, but test with another keyboard if you have an extra. I had a keyboard quit working with the Escape and numpad delete key. Different keyboard, back to working.

Works for me and I’m on same version. You didn’t accidentally turn numlock on, did you?

Route jaws to PC no longer working
Hi,
Using jaws key numpad minus to route jaws to pc is no longer working.
I’m using the latest version of JAWS, and I’m hoping that this is something I’ve messed up rather than a bug in

And, to add to that, it need not be Office 365. The ability to open PDF files within Word, where it converts them, has been around since at least Word 2013. It may even have been available in Word

Your right under the ADA is to have a screen reader if that's what you need to do your job. That screen reader need not be JAWS. And I expect that as time progresses, and more employers accept NVDA

This entire discussion continues to convince me, with perhaps some exceptions, that the best way to deal with PDFs, assuming you have Microsoft 365 on your system, is to set them up to open in Word.
