Re: Any thoughts on getting latest version of Firefox (78.0.1) to work better with older JFW (2018)?
For what it’s worth, I have JAWS 2020 and I have stopped using Firefox for the most part because it crashes frequently. I spoke with tech support at Freedom Scientific who told me they are well

Re: Where Do Zoom Meeting Recordings Go?
Hi, Takis. I play mp4 files in Winamp. They should play if the files are
associated correctly.

Re: Permanently activating Jaws screen shade
No, Jed. You didn't even get to Screen Shade. The toggle is INSERT plus SPACE, followed by F11 or PrintScreen.
Insert plus SPACE is a layered command that gives access to subcommands.

Re: Permanently activating Jaws screen shade
I tried insert space bar. It made a low to high tone sound. I'm
guessing that when i hit it again, there is no tone, and that means it
turns off?

Hey guys.
So here's a question, how do you activate this screen shade? It would
be cool to know.
Cheers,
Jed

Zoom meeting recordings are .M4A files which can be played by Windows Media Player or VLC Media Player. I don't know if there is a plugin for Winamp to play this file type.

Adrian:
The three file types are m4A, M3U, and MP4.
I'll have to go back and check winamp to see if those file types are
associated with Winamp.

Well, there are several files here.
The extensions are m4A, M3U, and MP4.
None of them play through Winamp.
I haven't yet tried taking them out of the Zoom folder and playing them

Re: Where Do Zoom Meeting Recordings Go?
Hi, Tom.
Winamp has been around for a long time. Not so Zoom. If you determine the file extension for a Zoom recording, you can associate it with Winamp.

If Zoom can be configured to ignore the soundcard JAWS is on, that's what you'd want to do. You would need a separate interface, like a USB soundcard maybe (I don't know if a Bluetooth headset alone

I actually found the recordings where you suggested they would be.
Interestingly, though, they don't seem to be recognized by winamp, which I
use as my default audio and video player.
